In plastic processing machinery, components such as screws, barrels, mold surfaces, rollers, and guide elements are exposed to high temperatures, friction, and chemical interactions, which over time lead to wear and surface degradation. To combat these challenges, thermal spray coating technologies—especially those using tungsten carbide and ceramic-based materials—are applied to enhance surface hardness, prevent sticking, and provide corrosion resistance. As a result, equipment lifespan is extended, maintenance costs are reduced, and high efficiency is achieved in production processes.
